Abarna has multiple jobs on campus, and basically, she can
do anything. She is one of the staff nurses that helps on campus as well as in
the colonies, along with being a house mother, and on top of all that, henna
master. I love to watch her do henna-she makes it look so easy and I have yet to
try myself but even if I can learn me some henna I am pretty sure it will take
me years to develop henna skills like Abarna.
This past week I was her drawing board. Well my left arm was
to be exact. I couldn’t be happier with the results—well wait, I could but it
had nothing to do with her design or skill and everything to do with me
continuing to smudge parts of it even though I was trying really hard not too.
Needless to say, I was very happy with my first real henna experience. But I
mean look at it…..how couldn’t I be?
